Annapurna Base Camp
A direct route into the Annapurna Sanctuary, a glacial amphitheatre walled by eight-thousanders.
The route
ABC delivers the most concentrated mountain experience in Nepal. The trail climbs through bamboo and rhododendron forest into the sanctuary — a natural cirque ringed by Annapurna I, South, Hiunchuli, and Machapuchare. Lower altitude than EBC, accessible from Pokhara, and well-supported with teahouses throughout.

Common questions
Is April a good time for the Annapurna Circuit?
Yes — April is the peak pre-monsoon window. Expect clear mornings, blooming rhododendrons, and stable pass conditions.
Can I finish Annapurna Base Camp in 5 days from Pokhara?
Yes but it is aggressive. The standard itinerary is 7–8 days. Cut it to 5 only if you arrive fit and acclimatized.
